Liberia is one of the biggest cities in Guanacaste and it is becoming rapidly a main commerce center in Costa Rica. The city is located 200 kilometers north of San Jose or about 3urs by car. Liberia's growth is due in part to its proximity to the gorgeous Pacific beaches and Papagayo. In addition, the city boasts excellent schools, shopping, medical services and cinemas. Premium Property Liberia is the only city in Costa Rica other than San Jose that has an international airport. Delta Airlines flies directly a few times per week. International businesses such as Best Western, Burger King and Pizza Hut have began operations in town. Commercial real estate opportunities abound in Liberia as new shops are opening monthly. In summary, Liberia is popular among real estate buyers for its proximity to beaches and Papagayo. The town receives direct international flights and it has excellent infrastructure and schools.
